It is been a while since the last post on the blog. And the last time when the blog was idle for so long, something good was cooking in the background. It turned out to be quite delicious and is known by the name JIRA Development Cookbook! No price for guessing what comes out this time. It is my pleasure to announce that JIRA 5.x Development Cookbook is now officially available in the market. The book can be purchased from Amazon or Packt websites. I love football, aka soccer! I was never a good player but whenever I played, I played center back. That is probably one reason why I was delighted when Ken Olofsen announced the JIRA Best X1 of 2011 in this post! There it was, at No 4 position, my own book alongside a few other gems! A position which was graced by Patrick Vieira to Cesc Fàbregas to Javier Zanetti to err... I would rather not say it ;) I admit, It's been months since the last post. We have got suggestions on new posts, enquiries about why there aren't any new posts and there was a lot of activity going on in the existing posts. But where exactly have I been hiding? A book! That's right. I was writing a book! The response on this blog was fantastic and people were asking for more. There wasn't a better option than to publish more tutorials like this in the form of a book. And luckily, this suggestion came from one of the premier publishers in the world - Packt. |
