Privacy Policy

We care about privacy. And we ensure we don't collect/request any data from you unless it is necessary to solve the problems you run into while using one of our add-ons.
Do we collect personal Information?
No. J-Tricks has a number of server add-ons for JIRA. None of our add-ons collect any personal information. Nor does it analyze any data that is stored in your JIRA instance and share it outside of your JIRA.
How do we use JIRA data and where do we store add-on data?
J-tricks add-ons use JIRA data to enhance various functionalities. It also might create custom schemas for configuration options and store data in the JIRA file system depending on the add-on used. Any data stored in the database is stored using Active Objects technology and is available only to the add-on and Database Administrators. Similarly, any files stored in the file system is solely used by the add-ons and is available only to system administrators.

We do not store any data remotely or share the data with any applications or entities outside your JIRA instance.
Do we use Analytics?
No.
Do we use Cookies in our add-ons?
No. We do not use cookies to provide tailored information in any of our add-ons.
How do we handle application logging and error logging?
We use JIRA's application logs to write the add-on specific logs, including error logs. These logs are never shared or uploaded to a remote location.
How do we handle support data?
It is extremely important to get information about your JIRA instance and appropriate log files to debug issues you might come across while using the J-tricks add-ons. Our support team might request for JIRA support zip, which might include some or all of the following, depending on what you choose to share.
  • Application Properties
  • Application Config
  • Application Logs
  • Tomcat Config
  • Tomcat Logs
  • Authentication configuration
  • Cache configuration
  • Health checks
  • Thread Dumps
Note that none of these contains any sensitive information and it is possible to hide any of the data, before sending out the support Zip. From our side, we ensure that the support zip is never shared with, or made accessible to, third party.
How can you contact us?
For any questions on privacy policy, or to log complaints, please use our contact form or write to us at support@j-tricks.com.
