JQL Tricks - Filter Statistics

The JQLT Tricks Filter Statistics is an administrative tool that automatically scans and lists all saved filters utilizing functions from the JQL Tricks for Jira app.

This feature is essential for Jira Administrators preparing to migrate from Server/Data Center to Atlassian Cloud. It helps you:
  • Assess Impact: Quickly identify how many filters rely on JQLT functions.
  • Clean Up Data: Spot and remove obsolete or orphaned filters before the migration.
  • Ensure Compatibility: Review specific JQL queries (e.g., hasLinks(), hasSubtasks()) to map out and ensure a smooth transition to Cloud equivalents.

Displayed Information The dashboard provides a clear, tabular view containing:
  • Total filters: The overall count of filters using JQLT functions.
  • Filter Name & Owner: Identifies the filter and its creator for easy follow-up.
  • JQL: The exact query string used in the filter.
  • View: A direct hyperlink to inspect the filter in the Issue Navigator.

To use the tool, navigate to Jira Administration > Manage apps > Scroll to the Search section on the left sidebar > Select JQLT Tricks Filter Statistics.
